This Privacy Policy explains how Katy Gutter Pros, an independently operated publishing website, collects, uses, discloses and retains information when you visit katygutterpros.com, submit an estimate request or communicate with the publisher.

Katy Gutter Pros is an independent information and contractor-matching website. It is not the gutter contractor. Information submitted for an estimate request may be shared with independent service providers or other disclosed lead recipients so they can evaluate the request and contact you.

Scope

This policy applies to this website and the publisher’s handling of information associated with it. It does not govern an independent provider’s website, estimates, communications or work. Once an independent recipient receives your information, that recipient may process it under its own privacy practices. Review those practices and direct recipient-specific requests to that recipient.

Information you provide

The website may collect information you choose to submit, including:

• name;
• phone number and email address;
• preferred contact method;
• property ZIP code and general location information;
• property type or number of stories;
• service requested and approximate timing;
• project descriptions, gutter conditions and other message content;
• photos or files, if the live form allows uploads;
• communication and consent records; and
• information included in a correction, privacy or support request.

Do not submit Social Security numbers, financial-account or payment-card data, government identification, medical information, access credentials or unrelated sensitive information through an estimate form.

Form processor: a custom first-party form endpoint hosted on Vercel and connected to the Katy Gutter Pros lead-management system

The endpoint will validate and transmit the request to the Katy Gutter Pros lead-management system. The production form must use encrypted transport, server-side validation, rate limiting, spam controls and access controls. It must not be enabled until delivery, consent logging and failure handling pass an end-to-end test.

Information collected automatically

When enabled, the website and its service providers may collect technical and usage information such as:

• IP address and approximate location derived from it;
• browser, device, operating system and language;
• referring page, landing page and pages viewed;
• date, time, session and interaction information;
• form-start, submission and error events;
• campaign and UTM parameters; and
• cookie, local-storage or similar identifiers.

Calls, texts and email

How information may be disclosed

Information may be disclosed to:

• Independent lead recipients: one or more independent gutter installation, repair, cleaning, guard or downspout service providers selected through the Katy Gutter Pros lead-management system for the requested service and location, for evaluating and responding to the gutter request you submit.
• Website and data service providers: Vercel for website hosting and serverless form execution; Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4 when analytics consent is granted; and security, communications, storage or support vendors acting for the publisher and accurately documented before deployment.
• Professional advisers: attorneys, accountants, insurers or consultants when reasonably necessary and subject to appropriate duties.
• Authorities or affected parties: when reasonably believed necessary to comply with law, legal process, safety obligations or the protection of rights.
• A successor in a business transaction: as part of a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, asset transfer or similar transaction, subject to applicable law.

A recipient may pay the publisher for a lead, referral, introduction or related commercial opportunity. Depending on the jurisdiction and arrangement, that disclosure may be treated as a “sale,” “sharing” or targeted-advertising activity under privacy law even when no list is sold in the ordinary sense. The production site must provide any notice and choice mechanism required for the practices actually used.

Katy Gutter Pros does not claim that recipients are part of a universally screened network. Sharing a request is not an endorsement or guarantee of qualifications.

Cookies and similar technologies

The website uses a global opt-in model for optional analytics. Strictly necessary storage may operate without an analytics choice when it is required to remember privacy preferences, protect the form, maintain security or deliver a feature you request. Google Analytics 4 and any other optional measurement technology must remain disabled until you choose Accept analytics or enable analytics in Privacy choices.

Katy Gutter Pros does not intend to enable advertising, remarketing or cross-context behavioral advertising tags at launch. If another analytics, advertising, call-tracking, session-replay or embedded-media vendor is added, this policy and the privacy-choice interface must be updated before that technology is activated.

Selecting Reject optional must leave analytics disabled. You may change or withdraw your choice at any time through the Privacy choices link in the website footer. Withdrawing consent stops future optional analytics collection on this website and should remove analytics cookies the site can remove; it does not automatically erase information already processed by Google or another recipient.

Browser controls can block or delete cookies, but doing so may affect preference or form-security functions. Do Not Track signals are not interpreted uniformly. Where a legally recognized opt-out signal applies to an activity actually used by the site, it will be honored as required. You may also contact privacy@katygutterpros.com about available choices.

Information from other sources

The publisher may receive information from service providers, anti-spam systems, communications vendors or other operational sources. This may include delivery status, whether a request was accepted or rejected, contact outcome, appointment status, duplicate or fraud indicators and records needed to address a complaint. Provider outcome data should be limited to what is reasonably needed for routing, quality control, accounting and dispute handling; it should not be treated as an invitation to collect unrelated details about the work.

De-identified and aggregated information

The publisher may combine or de-identify information to understand site use, routing fit and request outcomes. Reasonable measures should be used to prevent de-identified information from being associated again with an individual. If information can still reasonably identify a person, it remains subject to this policy.

Data processing locations

Website, communications and routing vendors may process information in locations different from where you live. Where cross-border transfer rules apply, the publisher and its vendors should use an approved transfer mechanism and safeguards appropriate to the information and destination.

Data retention

Information is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described here, including request delivery, consent records, security, dispute resolution and legal obligations. Different records may have different retention periods. Data may be deleted, de-identified or isolated from routine use when it is no longer needed.

Independent recipients control their own copies and retention. A request sent to Katy Gutter Pros does not automatically delete information held by a recipient; contact that recipient directly as well.

Security

The publisher should use administrative, technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the information and risk. No website, transmission method or storage system is completely secure, and this policy does not guarantee that unauthorized access or loss will never occur.

Do not use an estimate form for emergencies or highly sensitive information.

Your choices and privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion or a copy of personal information; to object to or restrict certain processing; to withdraw consent; or to opt out of certain sale, sharing or targeted-advertising activities. These rights may be subject to exceptions and identity verification.

Submit a request through privacy@katygutterpros.com. Describe the right you want to exercise and the information needed to locate your record. The publisher should request only the additional information reasonably necessary to verify and fulfill the request. Authorized agents may be required to provide proof of authority.

You may ask a caller or message sender to stop contacting you. If your information has already been routed, send the request to both Katy Gutter Pros and the independent recipient.

Children’s privacy

This website is intended for adults seeking property-service information. It is not directed to children under 13, and the publisher does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child submitted information, use privacy@katygutterpros.com to request review and deletion.

Third-party links

The website may link to government agencies, standards organizations, manufacturers, providers or other third parties. Their websites and data practices are governed by their own policies. A link does not make Katy Gutter Pros responsible for those practices.

Changes to this policy
