Avoid comparing proposals that say only “aluminum” or “copper.” A complete material line should identify:

Copper’s surface changes with exposure, progressing from a bright metallic finish toward brown and eventually green-blue patina under suitable conditions. Copper is intentionally visible on many architectural projects.
